China proved to be the biggest winner in the Sheffield Stop of the 2007 FINA Diving World Series. On Sunday they pocketed all 8 gold medals on offer.
World champion Guo Jingjing, and Qin Kai, who is just back from injury, managed two gold medals each. The other four golds went to rookie divers Lin Yue and Chen Ruolin. Next stop is Mexico City on the 8th and 9th of September.
"Actually, I think it is not so important how many gold medals we win. The divers can learn more from such high-level competitions. They can improve themselves not only mentally, but also physically."said Zhou Jihong, Chinese National Diving Director.
