The International Under-21 Toulon Tournament in France continued with China's Olympic team taking on reigning champions the Netherlands in their Group B clash. The Chinese squad were desperate for a win against the Dutch, after having lost twice to them in their previous two meetings in the tournament.

Things in group B couldn't be more equal, as all four teams had come away with 1-1 results after their opening games.

China got off to the start they wanted when Jiang Ning scored in the 25th minute.
