The final of the Women's World 9-ball Championships saw China's mainland 9-ball queen Pan Xiaoting face off against Philippine top player Amit Rubilen. In a battle of both technique and mind, Pan took the lead first and held the advantage until the end to win 11-5.

Pan Xiaoting was crowned World champion for the first time, which was also her second title this year.
