China have also won gold in the women's biathlon 7.5 kilometer sprint event. In the men's 10km biathlon sprint, Zhang Chengye added a silver for China. And in the women's Halfpipe Final, China's Liu Jiayu snatched bronze.
Veteran biathlete Liu Xianying led a strong Chinese contingent to complete a clean sweep of the top three places in the women's 7.5km sprint at the Beida lake skiing resort on Monday.

The 30-year-old Liu missed just two shots against strong wind before clocking the title, the first gold medal in snow sports of the Games.
Fellow Chinese Kong Yingchao claimed the second and Dong Xue came to third.
In men's biathlon 10 kilogram category, China's Zhang Chengye managed a silver. The Gold going to Japan's Hidenori Isa.

Meanwhile, in the Women's Halfpipe Final, China's Liu Jiayu had settled for bronze behind her japanes4e rivals.
Shino Nakashima of Japan clinched gold and her compatriot Soko Yamaoka took silver by a slim margin.
