Usain Bolt looks in top form ahead of next month's Athletics World Championships in Berlin, after powering to victory in the 100 metres at the London Grand Prix on Friday. But there was a shock result in the women's pole-vault, where Yelena Isinbayeva was beaten for the first time in six years, going down to Poland's Anna Rogowska.
The final race of the London Grand Prix on Friday saw former world 100 metres record holder Asafa Powell up against fellow Jamaican Usain Bolt, a triple gold medallist in last year's Olympics.
The anticipated showdown was a no contest, with Bolt cruising to victory in a time of 9.91 seconds into a headwind. Another Jamaican, Yohan Blake, was second in 10.11 but Powell struggled home sixth with a time of 10.26.

But it was not all good news for Jamaica. Bolt's celebrations were tarnished by the news that five of his fellow countrymen had tested positive for a banned substance and had been withdrawn from the world championships.
Bolt said, "I don't know, I don't know how long is going to take but I'm sorry people can not do without drugs. I think people should follow my footsteps. It just take hard work and I think some people don't want to work that hard. I think if you really work hard, because I have been up and down and I really worked hard to get here so I'm going to keep on to stay here, so all the other guys have to do is to work hard and stay focused."
There was a shock of a different kind in the women's Pole Vault, where Poland's Anna Rogowska emerged as the winner after clearing 4.68 metres at her second attempt.
