President Hu Jintao and other senior leaders, including all the members of the CPC Politburo Standing Committee, have inspected the exhibition underway at Beijing's Capital Museum.

The 2010 World Expo is less than 300 days away. The primary goal of the exhibition is to raise public awareness about the Expo... and generate more support for its preparation. So far, the exhibition has received more than 2 million visitors, greatly raising people's expectations for the 2010 event.

Hu Jintao and other leaders carefully reviewed the displays about the history and evolution of the World Expos and the overall landscaping plan of the Shanghai Expo Park.

Hu Jintao also expressed satisfaction about the progress of the preparation. He said the Chinese government appreciates the world's enthusiasm for the event.
