Special Report: Wu visits 3 European nations |

China's top legislator is calling for stronger international cooperation as the global financial crisis continues spreading. And this means implementing the G-20 summit consensus and opposing protectionism.

Wu Bangguo made the remarks during his meeting with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano. He also said the international community should push forward reform of the international financial system and establish a new order of world economy.

Napolitano stressed Italy will join hands with China to oppose trade protectionism and address the international financial crisis. Italy is the last stop of Wu Bangguo's three-nation European tour.
