Intro:
Late last month, Microsoft launched two updates to its most widely used software, Windows XP and Microsoft Office, specially for the Chinese market.
The new program, called the Windows Genuine Advantage Program, or WGA, can cause a user's screen to turn black if the installed software fails a validation test. Chinese response toward Microsoft's move has proven mixed. There's been concern, worry and anger, as well as applause and support.
