Intro:
Life is bitter and sweet. So is holiday. The broader reform in China also embraces the reasonable division of public holidays to boost domestic consumption at least and to also raise the living standards of ordinary Chinese. This year witnesses the 1st short May Day Holiday. So far, positive feedback seems to prevail over negative comments on the reform which cuts the Golden Holiday from seven days to three days and adds two more national holidays to the list of the Chinese calendar.
