Isabelle Huppert, a woman of many faces

The famous French actress Isabelle Huppert was also President of the jury of the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. She visited Beijing and unveiled a photography exhibition on Thursday.

Looking at these photographs feels a little like looking at a family album in one's living room. Over 100 pictures hang casually on two walls, not in any chronological or other order.

The photos and video portraits of Isabelle Huppert were taken by a multi-generational group of the world's leading photographers including Henri Cartier-Bresson, Edouard Boubat, Helmut Newton and Robert Wilson. The exhibits are the photographers' tributes to Huppert's 30-years in film.

Isabelle Huppert has been a muse to some of the most prominent directors in the past three decades. She has starred in over 70 films,directed by Claude Chabrol, Jean-Luc Godard, Patrice Chereau and others.

Huppert says that she loves every picture.
