Forty exhibitors from all over the UK and Europe were at the Christmas Gardening Show in central London. It was an opportunity for those interested in plants and flowers to see the things they love in a winter wonderland.

All the displays have a Christmas feel to them, and all the stands follow a similar theme. Traders also dressed up in costumes to mark the time of year and the traditional theatrical pantomime season in the UK.

Bob Sweet, show organizer, said, "We want everyone to join in the spirit of Christmas, and why can't plants have a Christmassy feel to them, and we're all so used to seeing poinsettias on our windows, and cyclamen for Christmas, so why not add to that and if you look around the hall here just look at the other things you can have in your house for Christmas, look at some of the beautiful reasoned floral decorations and those decorations just purely made out of foliage, all of those are so wonderful and I don't think we do enough at Christmas with plants."
