Here's something for sweet-toothed fashion lovers, Chocolate superheroes - models wearing chocolate armor have strutted their defenses at an annual chocolate fashion show in the Big Apple.

It may be delicious to eat but can it be your armor to protect you from attacks? If some former Project Runway fashion designers as well as some adventurous pastry chefs are to believ, then chocolate can do that too.

At the 11th annual chocolate fashion show in New York, former fashion designer participants of the television show Project Runway combined their cocoa creativity with pastry chefs to debut the 2008 chocolate super-hero collection.

Models in chocolate armor portrayed a range of contemporary superheroes, from Batgirl and Barbarella to Ironman.

Backstage before the chocolate fashion show began, pastry chef Dina Sadik tended to a model dressed as Storm from X-Men.
