The Fashion crowd is in Paris this week. This season's Paris Fashion Week focuses on ready to wear.

Well-known Greek fashion designer Sophia Kokosalaki presented her new ready-to-wear collection Tuesday.

Her collection this season is inspired by Middle-Eastern and Egyptian art. Kokosolaki also found influences from her traditional Greek background - adopting draped fabrics and sandals.

Black and gold are predominant -- with gold worked shoes and accessories.

Kokosolaki is a graduate of London's Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. It was she who designed the wardrobes for the opening ceremonies of the the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

Also introduced at the Fashion Week are the French design duo, Marithe and Francois Girbauld.
