Special Report:   Tech Max

A revolutionary concept in dining out has infiltrated London's trendy Soho district. The owners of hi-tech Inamo have developed technology that allows diners in their restaurant to order food and drinks from an interactive menu on the table top, no more having to wait for waiters.

From the pavement along London's Wardour Street there nothing appears extraordinary about the super sleek exterior of the Inamo restaurant.

Step inside and the futuristic technology takes the establishment into a league of its own.

It's the brainchild of two Oxford graduates, who say this Asian fusion restaurant is the first in the world to offer customers fully interactive dinner service.

It's taken nearly three years to turn the idea into reality.

A relatively simple concept lies behind the impressive technology. Pods above each table conceal a projector and PC which beams the interactive menu onto smart tabletops.
