Shanghai is celebrating the premiere of China's latest animation sensation, "Storm Rider". Big name entertainers came out for the opening -- Nicholas Tse and Richie Jen, contributed voices to the main characters.

The spectacular premiere was at the Shanghai Circus Theater. "Storm Rider" is a compilation of classic scenes from kungfu action thrillers.
The pre-show event was adapted, to parallel the story lines of the film. And with modern stage technique and high technology the show created magic.
Taiwan singer and actor Richie Jen, who voiced the lead character Jie Feng in the production, sang the movie theme.
Hong Kong entertainer Nicholas Tse, who voiced the other lead, engaged in some sport with members of the audience.
Major cartoon artists from the mainland and Hong Kong were there -- and so were renowned voice actors like Tong Zirong and Han Xue
The movie is the biggest animation ever,by Shanghai Media Corporation. The company invested 10 million US dollars in the film. Production took five years. Storm Rider opens worldwide on Saturday.
