Many of Britain's most talented student designers are making their debut, presenting their creations for the first time. Presentations the UK's Graduate Design show range from projects to help the environment in the developing world, to eye-catching furniture, and a bicycle made of cardboard.

The show highlights emerging talent presented the works of 150 young designers with particular emphasis on industrial designs.
The event, now in its 23 year, is the biggest showcase for graduate talent in Europe. It attracts rising stars in the industry as well as members of the general public who have an inventive spirit.
Mark Nichols studied business design. He designed an inexpensive, effective water filter, which he says will be particularly useful in the developing world.
The show also provides young designers with a chance to compare their products with others in the market. It's also an important recruiting ground for industry.
