In Shangshui county, in the eastern part of Henan, archeologists discovered a large, ancient tomb. Artifacts taken from the site suggest the tomb dates back to the Three Kingdoms Period, some 18 hundred years ago.

According to local authorities, the tomb was discovered about a month ago. Workers constructing underground water distribution lines made the discovery. Preliminary excavations have produced some 30 relics. There are cooking utensils, pottery, and weapons. Researchers believe the tomb's occupant was a high-ranking official of the local administration.
