The 27-year-old Spanish striker signed a four year deal in front of a packed room at Fenerbahce's Saracoglu Stadium after the club agreed to pay Real Mallorca 17 million euros. Guiza won the prestigious 'Pichichi Trophy' - the Spanish equivalent of the "Golden Boot" - after scoring 27 goals in 37 games for Mallorca in La Liga last year and netted twice in Spain's triumphant march to Euro 2008 glory.
Daniel Gonzales Guiza said "When you look at it from the outside, Fenerbahce is a big football club. They have achieved important results in the Champions League. One of the reasons I came here is to take Fenerbahce further and I think we will make it together. Fenerbahce is an unbelievably big football club."
