At the Yayuncun branch of Quanjude, chefs have created over 20 new dishes, inspired by different elements of the Olympics.
In addition, some 60 specialities have been added to the menu. The new dishes, emphasize healthy, safe eating. They are intended primarily for foreign diners.
A street named "Guijie" in east Beijing is famed for its cluster of restaurants. In this 1.4 kilometer street, 140 big and small restaurants are serving up an exceptional variety of foods.
But some are known not only for the delicacy of their menu, but also for the traditional ways they serve the foods, such as hawking.
