One more Chinese locale has been inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List. Mount Sanqingshan National Park in south China's Jiangxi Province is the latest to earn the distinction. The honour was awarded at the 32nd session of the World Heritage Committee.

Meeting in Quebec City, Canada, the committee assessed 43 cites from 41 countries nominated for inclusion on the list. At Monday's afternoon session, the committee approved the addition of Mount Sanqingshan National Park to the World Heritage List. That brings to 37 the number of Chinese properties on the international register.
Mount Sanqingshan National Park, in northeast of Jiangxi Province, east China, contains a wonderland of deep forests, fantastically shaped granite pillars and mountain peaks concentrated in a relatively confined area.

Mount Sanqingshan offers spectacular near and distant vistas. Meteorological affects help to create a landscape of exceptional beauty.
As the news reached China, people from a village near the park gathered to celebrate with drums and gongs. International recognition is expected to boost local tourism and the economy.
Sunday, Tulou, he unique residential architecture of Fujian Province in eastern China, was added to the World Heritage List, as a cultural addition.
