Removing walls and fences certainly seems "people-friendly". In London, growing public interest in environmentally-friendly buildings emerges as a strong focal point at Grand Designs Live. The program is now open at London's ExCel Centre. Houses built from straw bales, dwellings made of logs with "eco" friendly fixtures and fittings reflect public interest in the environment.

This marks the fourth edition of Grand Designs Live. The organizers host exhibitions all around Britain, the U.K.

In comparison with the initial show, public awareness and the building industry's interest in eco-friendly construction have been transformed.

Traditional values are at the heart of the straw bale construction carried out by Amazonails. This is a "not for profit" organization, based in the north of England.
