Let's travel around some more, shall we?

The Indian hill town of Darjeeling, famous for its tea, hopes to capitalize on its name - by promoting tea tourism. People in the community are joining together in support of the effort, saying it's time Darjeeling diversified its economy.

A newly formed Cooperative Society in Kolkata and almost seven hundred villagers from the surrounding villages of Makaibari and Fulbari, are behind this effort to become founders of Tea Tourism.

Darjeeling is known the world over for one of the world's finest teas and also for its toy train, which has been declared part of the World Heritage.

Most villagers here depend on the tea plantations for employment. Many want to create other sources of income as a way of strengthening the local economy.
