Special Report:   Premier Wen visits 4 nations

The closing ceremony of the "Year of China" in Russia was held in Moscow on Tuesday evening. It marks the end of the reciprocal China-Russia national theme years which started in 2006.

Chinese Premier, Wen Jiabao, and his Russian counterpart, Viktor Zubkov, attended the ceremony at the Kremlin. Chinese President, Hu Jintao, and Russian President, Vladimir Putin, initiated the "national years" in 2005 to enhance mutual trust and promote cooperation between both countries.

More than 300 events were held during the Year of Russia in China in 2006. And nearly 200 events took place during the Year of China in Russia.
