Rain and cloud in Hong Kong cast a shroud over the full Moon. But the spirit of Mid-Autumn Festival, among Hong Kong's people is not dampened. The night is ablaze with light. Thousands of coloured lanterns are glowing everywhere.

At 7:30 Monday night, the lanterns hanging at the Hong Kong Arts Center Square were lit. Victoria Harbor suddenly emanated a classic, traditional Chinese atmosphere. The centerpiece: an eighty-meter dragon lantern.
