A cult image of Guan Yu has arrived in Kaohsiung, Taiwan from Shanxi province. The arrival on Sunday kicks off a two and a half year long road-show on the island.

Along its journey from the Kaohsiung airport to Guan Di temple at Dongzhao Mountain, the idol attracted worshippers by the tens of thousands. During the road-show in Taiwan, the joss will cover over 10-thousand kilometers and receive the worship of its believers around the island.
