Special Report:   Cultural Heritage Day

A timely discovery leading up to World Cultural Heritage Day, with another significant archeological discovery being made in the eastern province of Jiangxi. Forty-eight coffins, unearthed from an ancient tomb, are believed to be thousands of years old.

The 12-meter-high earth mound was discovered near a highway in Jing-an County, in eastern China's Jiangxi Province, late last year. It had been partly destroyed - but excavations over the past six months have started to reveal significant treasures.
