People in Brussels are holding a marathon of a different sort. It's a marathon carnival of music. A three-day party has been held in the city's main squares.

Local and international groups and artists fill the main squares, bars and theaters of the Belgian capital.

Jazz fans can enjoy modern and traditional jazz, blues and Latin, indoors and outdoors during the annual Brussels Jazz Marathon.

Crowds from all over Belgium and beyond flock to some 50 venues.

Each May, the Jazz Marathon is one of the main cultural events in the city. It attracts more than 250 thousand jazz-fans.

As many as 400 musicians let loose their talents on 60 stages throughout the city.

The entrance ticket offers over a hundred concerts and free access to the Jazz Marathon buses, as well as the public transport joining the different "hot" spots.

No doubt, Mr. Jazz is in town for some hundred memorable concerts.
