A Tibetan culture exhibition "Treasures of the Chinese Nation - An Exhibition of Tibetan Culture" will be held in Beijing Capital Museum October 10, on the occasion of the opening of "China Tibetan Culture Forum" organized by the China Association for Preservation and Development of Tibetan Culture (CAPDTC).

More than 300 items will be displayed on the exhibition including over 100 photos, over 200 pieces of folk life production equipment and supplies, making wide range at history, Tibetan medicine, traditional art, architecture, sculptures, religious figures and Buddhist objects.

In addition, veteran monks and painters will be invited by the exhibition sponsor to give mandala executing and thangka painting performances to help viewers understand Tibetan culture directly. The exhibition will last to October 22.

This exhibition is sponsored by the CAPDTC and undertaken by the China's Tibet Magazine.

The China Association for Preservation and Development of Tibetan Culture (CAPDTC) established in Beijing, June 2004, is a NGO formed by voluntary personages devoting to the protection and development of Tibetan culture. Since the founding of the association, the CAPDTC contributes too much for strengthening the protection of Tibet and the Tibetan culture, promoting exchanges and cooperation with international non-governmental organizations.
