China has sped up construction on transportation networks and will reduce toll charges on the nation's roads. This has helped create stable growth in the economy.

Liaoning province is building the country's longest coastal road. It will stretch 1400 kilometers and will be completed by the end of September.

Li Yanpeng, Liaoning Provincial Gov't Official said The costal road will lead to an industry region. If it is extended inland by 50 to 100 kilometers, it will help drive economic growth."

The increase in transportation construction will benefit many sectors, including equipment manufacturers and construction material producers. This year, China has invested four hundred billion yuan in transportation fixed assets, up 40 percent year on year. 12 thousand kilometers of highway were built, 5 times more than the same period last year.

He Jianzhong, Ministry of Transport Official said "This year's investment in transportation fixed assets reached 1 trillion yuan, up 20 percent. This construction will help economic development and allow people to travel safer and faster."

China has also eliminated secondary road charges in 13 provinces and closed 14 hundred toll stations.
