The Third China International Private Equity Forum has kicked off in Tianjin. It aims to accelerate financing, and to find new financing models for small and medium sized enterprises.

This year's forum is being held amid the global financial crisis. It has attracted more than seven thousand representatives from more than 30 countries and regions. The participants include 11 world famous stock exchanges like Nasdaq, more than 500 fund companies and more than 15 hundred companies. The forum aims to accelerate financing, and to find new financing models for SMEs.

Representative of Finance Industry said "It's just one hour since the opening, and already more than 20 potential clients have given us their contact information."

The Association for Corporation Growth of the US has decided to make its Chinese headquarters in Tianjin. It's the association's second headquarters outside the US in addition to its headquarters in Europe.

The forum provides a platform for companies to get finance, and it has also become an M&A market.
