As part of the economic stimulus package, China will ease the burden on businesses. The government announced a spreading of the reforms of its value-added tax regime to all industries nationwide.

The move will cut the tax burden on enterprises by 120 billion yuan. The government hopes that with less taxes, companies will invest more in technological innovation.
