The hunt is on for the golden tickets the Beijing Olympic ticketing center has received over 20 million subscriptions so far in its second phase.

Nearly 2 million tickets are expected to be sold this round. Online ordering for this phase will close at midnight, December 30th. Tickets will then be allocated by lotteries. The ticketing center says roughly 4 million tickets total will be sold to mainland viewers by next year.

Demand is extremely high for events like ping-pong, diving and swimming. The ticketing center has suggested the public try booking tickets to less popular events for a greater chance of success.
