Chinese search engine giant, Baidu.com, has launched its own version of brand advertising to attract advertisers and grab a larger market share.
The new service allows advertisers to appear at the top of search results with more than one link in a separate section of the page.
Baidu is taking active steps to consolidate its leading position in the domestic market and fend off competition from rivals like Google and newcomer Alibaba.com.
