China's steadily booming economy is driving up the business of overseas enterprises. More and more foreign companies are seeing China as their top investment target and preparing to further tap into this vast market.
The building of Nokia's Greater China headquarters was completed on Tuesday. A research team with 1200 staff members will move in, making it Nokia's largest overseas R-and-D center. Multinationals have set up over 1200 R-and-D centers and more than 40 regional headquarters in the country so far.

Shen Jian, Manager of Nokia China said "China is Nokia's largest single national market. The Chinese market has contributed significantly to Nokia's development."
A survey conducted by the US-China Business Council and the EU Chamber of Commerce in China shows that over 80 percent of respondents say their Chinese subsidiaries were profitable last year.
