The second Central China Expo has kicked off in Zhengzhou, the capital of central China's Henan province. Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi attended the opening ceremony Thursday morning, along with senior officials.
The expo aims to attract outside investment to Chinese provinces of Henan, Anhui, Jiangxi, Shanxi, Hunan and Hubei. On Wednesday Wu Yi met with Kim Young Ju, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea.
At the meeting she encouraged enterprises from the Republic of Korea to invest and start businesses in central China.
