Netizens in China are going to have to be patient a little longer. Officials say Internet users in China will suffer slow connection until at least the end of the month.
They say crews sent to repair underseas communications cables cut by December 26th earthquake off Taiwan have reported the damage to be greater than expected. Bad weather is also hampering the work schedule.
Despite the delay, 70 percent of its Internet services has been restored through alternate routes. Officials say they're now aiming for the repair to be completed the end of the month.
