As China strengthens its efforts to support the development of rural areas, Chinese farmers are benefiting from the drive.

The central government has invested more than 30 billion yuan this year to develop agriculture and improve the living standard of its 900 million farmers. That translates an average of one yuan in each 6.5 yuan of China's annual fiscal expenditure into the agriculture. Thanks to a series of subsidizing policies, the per capita income of Chinese farmers reached over 2,700 yuan in the first three quarters this year. China has also invest in infrastructure in rural areas, expanded electricity network as well as improving education and healthcare system.
