Together with the annual Expo, the third China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit has also gotten underway in Nanning. The Annual Business and Investment Summit was proposed by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao during the ASEAN Plus One gathering in 2003.
The China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit has now become the largest gathering of Chinese and ASEAN business communities every year. And, leaders from China and the 10 ASEAN member countries gathered today to witness the opening ceremonies.
