Boeing and Airbus announced respectively that the orders signed with 9 Chinese airlines last year have been confirmed.

The 300 Boeing 737 and Airbus A-320 will be purchased by nine airlines, including, AirChina, China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines. These nine companies signed orders of 20 billion dollars in total, and the money will be paid before 2010. By then, the total number of Chinese aircraft will exceed 1,500 from the current 800.
