“For many years I have dreamed of becoming a journalist, and I am one of the lucky people who can combine their work with an interest. My grandfather was a journalist and writer, and from an early age I enjoyed writing. Soon I discovered my special fondness for the media industry, and I have not looked back since then. As a student, I helped to organize school parties, prepared corporate press releases, and hosted events for major brands and worked part-time for some TV programs.

After graduating with a combined degree in English Language and Information Management from Beijing Foreign Studies University, I joined the team at CCTV 9. But in the last three years, I have progressed from being a relative novice in TV production, to a seasoned writer, director, and journalist. My work keeps me moving around China, offers me chances to look into different industries, and opportunities to meet know business personalities. And it’s a great pleasure for me to interview different people in different fields in different places.

I do believe people have many ways of expressing themselves, so do I. Besides my TV work, I express myself through music like piano, or guitar; I express myself through movement, in Salsa; I express myself through color in my photography. I express my love of life through travel. The most wonderful place I’ve been to is the Fox Glacier in New Zealand; and my next dream destination is Kenya, Africa.
