After graduating from Beijing's second Foreign Language Institute in 1995, I came to CCTV'S Overseas Department to work as a journalist and editor for the Around China team. In 1998, when Around China took on a new look, I was chosen as its hostess. More than 3 years have passed; Around China has been gradually growing up as a program, and so have I, as the presenter and the reporter. Each time I introduce china's great history and people, beautiful scenic spots and variety of customs, I feel proud of my country, as well as my job, since I have the opportunity to tell people all over the world how great my country is. I feel even more proud when I receive feedback from the audience saying how they like the program and how eager they are to know more of china. For all those reasons, I'm trying my best to do a better job day after day. Besides hosting the program, I also make every effort to make as many short documentaries as I can, digging out more of the interesting aspects of China and its people to introduce them to our audience. So far I have made about 20 such documentaries on my own. On the whole, my greatest happiness is to introduce more of China to the rest of the world, especially to people who might have no knowledge or even wrong knowledge, of our country. So join us to know more about fantastic China and its people.
