BEIJING, Aug. 15 (Xinhuanet) -- The Tibet Branch of Bank of China has introduced petty secured loans for unemployed college graduates in Lhasa, Xigaze, Nyingchi and Shannan to encourage them to start up their own businesses.

Such loans are for the college degree holders who have not found jobs in five years and the on-campus college students with special skills. But those who have bad records in the credibility system may not apply for the loans.

Each personal loan is limited at less than 50,000 yuan RMB (7,320 U.S. dollars). As for partnerships with at lease three partners, a three-year loan not exceeding 200,000 yuan RMB (29,200 U.S. dollars) can be extended.

Currently, the branch only accepts natural-person guarantees and mortgage guarantees.
