Qinghai artist creates thangka for National Day

  Niangben, artist from Regong Region, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, southeastern Qinghai, is the typical heritor of Regong Art, the national intangible cultural heritage. He plans to dedicate two pieces of thangka, "Princess Wencheng into Tibet" and "Founding Ceremony," to the government for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People‘s Republic of China. Now, the former has been completed and the latter will be finished before September.
