Heavy snow hits Tibet Autonomous Region

　　A snowstorm has hit the Tibet Autonomous Region. As of Tuesday, the unseasonably snowy weather has left more than eighty thousand livestock dead, and damaged over 7-hundred houses.

　　Several counties in the autonomous region have been blanketed by snow for over ten days, with an average snow cover of about 10 centimeters. The maximum snow cover on record is over 50 centimeters. Armed police have been busy clearing snow drifts on roads and repairing damaged sections. And local governments are delivering relief materials and making efforts to get traffic moving again.
