At 3:00 pm on April 15, the reporter saw the director of the drama, named Shan Ting, who was busy preparing for the performance. She helped the lighting engineer check the lighting and also guided the actors and actresses in their last rehearsal. When she learned that the exhibition theater on the upper floor would probably be noisy, the French woman, who always had smile on his face, got a little anxious, and she was not able to relax until the problem was solved. "I'm worried that our performance will be negatively affected," said the French woman with a shy smile.

Shan told the reporter, in her not quite fluent Chinese, that the theater could accommodate a little more than 200 people, and 160 tickets had already been sold。Most of the audience were French people, but there would also be some in the audience who do not understand French. Considering these people, the troupe had invited translators to translate the lines into Chinese. "The drama was quite real," said Shan. She also said that they were also preparing to rehearse a Chinese edition of the drama and invited some Chinese actors and actresses to perform it, and the aim was still "to earn a lot of money and donate it to the orphans."

The reporter learned that the French Lantern Troupe was founded in 2005, and most members of the troupe are French volunteers working and living in Beijing, including amateur and professional performers. In addition to performing plays, the troupe also collects donations for a charitable organization that has been supporting the poverty-stricken children in Hubei, Gansu and Shanxi provinces for a long time. The dramas performed by the troupe in the past, including "Workshop," all received warm responses. This new drama "It Would Always Be Yours, Marie-Lou" will be put on the stage on April 15 through April 18, 2010, and all the income from the play will be donated to the orphans in northwestern regions of China through a charitable organization named Doctor Ma’s Charitable Foundation.
