Eight-year-old Nian Tianjiao is a grade three student in Class Six at Shanghaidao Primary School in Hexi District, Tianjin City. Her many hobbies include dancing, playing the piano and drawing pictures. However, her favorite pastime is witnessing the happiness of new couples.

Many couples engaged to be married decide to have an angel witnessing their happiness at their wedding ceremony who scatters colorful petals, and leads them walk up the aisle to where they exchange eternal promises with their loved one. Nian has been this type of angel since she was three years old and has witnessed the happiness of many couples.

Once, Nian was asked to be a bridesmaid at the wedding ceremony of one of her mother's colleagues. That day she wore a miniature wedding dress and walked along the red carpet with her head high calmly scattering petals representing happiness in a relaxed manner. Her message of blessing was appreciated by all the guests.

Since that day, Nian is often "hired" by relatives and friends to act as a page boy or a bridesmaid. Every time she is told that she has been asked to attend a wedding, she jumps excitedly because she can put on a bright skirt and make-up, scatter fragrant rose petals, eat delicious cakes and even ride in a fast convertible car …… so many funny things to make her extremely excited.
