The Features Department of CCTV-9, China's international English-language television channel, is currently seeking to fill a number of full-time positions.

COPY EDITOR

General Responsibilities:

- Preparing and writing scripts for broadcast

- Checking facts

- Designing subtitles

- Providing general guidance on the proper and most effective use of English

SOUND ENGINEER

General Responsibilities:

- Ensuring the highest level of sound quality for a range of programmes

- Assisting with the introduction of new and advanced sound recording techniques

PRESENTER, REPORTER, PRODUCER

General Responsibilities:

- Gathering research for upcoming shows

- Locating sources for interview

- Writing on-camera and voice-over scripts

- Conducting on-camera interviews

- Video editing

- Submitting proposals for future shows/series

(Note: Extensive travelling in China and working irregular hours may be required)

Requirements (for all positions):

- BA degree or higher

- Relevant work experience in the television/media industry (on-camera experience, knowledge of editing software, subtitling/copy-editing experience, etc.)

- Candidates should be native speakers of English; basic Chinese language skills are an advantage
