Guo Runwen was Born in Zhejiang Province. Graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Art in 1988.

His works are broadly collected, including those held by Mentova Museum, Shanghai Art Museum, China Historical Museum and Guan Zhou Art Museum.
