After 3 months' fierce competition, the awarding ceremony of the 1st "Genius Cup" Tibetan College Student Undertaking Competition kicked off in Lhasa, November 22.

The competition was jointly sponsored by Tibet Autonomous Region Youth League Committees, Publicity Department of Tibet Autonomous Region Party Committee, Tibet Autonomous Region Education Labor Committee and some departments concerned attracting 23 undertaking's prospectuses from 6 collages and universities in Tibet.

The competition covers a wide scope from energy sources, biology, service, information technology, finance to environmental protection.

The prospectus of Sopa Limited Company, which is made by Wu Wei and her 6 classmates from Economic & Management Institute of Tibet University, won the first prize in the competition.

"Not only did we broaden our professional knowledge from the competition, but also got acquainted with the importance of teamwork and persistence needed in our fortune career," said Wu Wei

From 2007 on, graduates and undergraduate students will not benefit from the job allocation by the government, instead, they should find the job by themselves, according to Luo Mei, secretary of the Tibet Autonomous Region Committee of the Communist Youth League.
