Visiting journalists take notes for Expo 2010

Journalists from the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation visited the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination yesterday.

Journalists from the South Asian Association for Regional  Cooperation tour the hall of exhibition at the Expo mansion.

The journalists toured the hall of exhibition at the Expo mansion and enjoyed a bird's view of the Expo site from the roof. They interviewed the head of the bureau's Communication and Promotion Department. Ananth Krishnan, a journalist for the India newspaper The Hindu in China said that Expo Shanghai was exhilarating and he would be covering it.

Ajaya Rana, acting Editor-in-Chief of the Nepal newspaper The Rising Nepal Daily, asked about Nepal's participation in Expo 2010 and the latest developments of the Nepal Pavilion.

Other members of the group were from the Associated Press of Pakistan, Sri Lanka’s Daily News and Bangladesh's DESH TV. Most of the journalists were on their first visit to China.
